Maravillo Telar- 2013// The Maravillo Telar collection is influenced by tribal cultures, in which it is common to wear textile jewelry (especially in the Latin Americas). The artisan esthetic is combined with contemporary design, infusing hard lined geometric shapes and raw metals with soft textile.
Production of the collection involved the use of borrowed prehistoric weaving techniques. Therefore, each piece is handmade and distinct, with the availability of endless textile variations and compositions.
The unlimited interplay between shapes, compositions and materials created a unique opportunity to improvise during the manufacturing process resulting in a line with one-of-a-kind pieces, alongside a variety of set models.
